Taking advantage of exclusion deals - Part 1
Tonight I was browsing a regular forum I frequent and happened upon information about a pretty awesome sale at Dick Smith at the moment. A lot of games are $7-$10-$20 bucks and a few of them are at least worth a look in. Anyway the thought occurred to me that I should check out how many of these are actually available in my city and which of them weren't on JB Hifi's infamous and quickly growing Exclusion List.
I managed to find 3 games that weren't on the list and are in stock according to the Dick Smith website, Hurrah! Anyway I plan on hitting the two stores tomorrow and doing my best to trade in 3 games (that will cost me $25.60) for a brand new copy of Ninja Gaiden 2. I wasn't planning on buying the game but if I can score it for this price why the hell not I say! The exclusion list is getting larger every month and it's becoming harder and harder to find games that are cheap and aren't on the list. It's only a matter of time before doing this kind of 'scam' nigh on impossible.
Check back tomorrow for part 2 and hopefully I have good news to report back withEven if I don't managed to score Ninja Gaiden 2 I plan on getting some of the other games Dick Smith have on sale.
For more details on the sale check out This Post.
