Calling all fanboys

Nintendo does not love you. Sony is not your pal. Microsoft isn't going to care if you tell that one guy on a message board that no, Xbox really isn't for homos. They're multinational, billion dollar corporations that distance themselves from your kind as much as possible.

All three are just as bad as the other, they want your money and they don't really care how they get it, so long as it's the most efficient way. Stop defending them mindlessly. Everyone else? Uh... continue as you were?

   The question is who is nicest about it all? Nintendo? I think they're doing a better job at convincing you to part with your money. At least they seem to be doing it better for the more casual market than everyone else.

   A couple of things inspired me to make this post. First was my shitty response from the Rock Band support board for my damaged guitar. Second was that Nintendo EU PR jerk saying "lol you're all geeks and otaku and I don't care about you!". I mean, I always knew this fact, that they're just companies that care only for their bottom line, but I still thought they'd not see their fanbase as scum lol
   
   
   As for who's the nicest, I reckon MS was to begin with this generation. The whole Major Nelson blog thing and reaching out to the community stuff was just fantastic. Sony has made a lot of ground though, and they're focusing on community and so on too. Nintendo are probably the worst. I honestly don't think they know exactly what it is that has made the Wii successful, so they try this and that to attempt at capitalising on it and it's really hit or miss. I think the biggest example I can think of is completely and totally under estimating demand for Smash Bros Brawl. They seem to think now that anything hardcore is going to harm them somehow in the eyes of casuals.
