Wake Up.
Before the release of the DS, I was wondering what your most satisfying game experience was on an Nintendo platform. Mine would have to be booting and playing Super Mario Brothers on the NES. Gaming goodness.

WHY SO SERIOUS!
My most satisfying experience is a recent one. Metroid Prime on the cube would have to be the best thing Nintendo has given me. And now I am playing Metroid Prime Echoes I feel like they have spoiled me even more.

But to go before Metroid Prime, Goldeneye is up there, and no doubt a few other N64 games. Growing up I owned all the Nintendo systems but I never really played their games. Which is a shame really.

I, myself like the television show on SBS called Mythbusters. It is two guys, Jamie and Adam, who set out to see whether myths are true, or not.

Yours?

Most TV shows are crap and boring. I do watch Mythbusters because the guys on it know their sh*t. I watch some other shows but I can't think of any now.

Jamie and Adam seem to know everything! Even the throat size of a pneumatic nailgun!

Yep, Mario Bros. kept me in check, along with Wonderboy III, Yoshi's Island, DKC, SM64, Goldeneye 007, LoZ: OoT, and Metroid Prime.

Obviously Wonderboy III was on the MS :)

Goldeneye for me.

Non Nintendo would have to be MGS2. I started this game on Friday afternoon after work. Got into it like nothing before and played it all weekend. Sunday night just after midnight I got to the stage where the trippy stuff starts happening and let me tell you it freaked me out with a capital F. I guess because I was slightly tired it had a bigger effect on me and after so many hours playing straight it blew me away. Awsome experience that I will never forget.

Goldeneye was definately satisfying. However, I don't think it quite surpasses the first time I played Mario 64.

Having said that, my overall favourite is still the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
