Right you are, Ken Posts: 424 Group: Members Member #544 Joined: January 7, 2006	Haha have a good time Freaky. I'm not a fan of camping at all. I remember back when I was in Grade 9 in 2002 my old High School offered 'Activities Week'. It was usually the week before Easter and all 200 of the students in Grade 9 in whatever year could choose a place where they could go for a week (my High School had offered and run this for quite a few years before I even started High School). Being from southern Tassie, we could choose from: Port Arthur (always very popular), Gumleaves (an outdoor bush camp on the East Coast of Tassie), Freycinet/Wineglass Bay (another popular one), Maria Island (East Coast of Tassie again) and Day Tours. As I don't like camping, I picked Day Tours, even though I knew that in all of them except Freycinet and Maria Island (you had to sleep in a tent at those two places) you could stay in cabins. Looking back I wish I had've went to Port Arthur but we went down there for the day for Day Tours so it was good. Sorry if I confuse people with Tassie locations- just ask if you're lost. ;)

Anyway Freaky I demand more details regarding this camp. Perhaps afterwards. When I was in year 9 oh boy we went on this totally fistworthy camp. Merribrook. Oh man TEN DAYS it was, ten days out the bush. No cushy tent, you slept ona piece of plastic ON THE DIRT with just another sheet of plastice overhead to keep the rain and birdshit off. Days would be spent trudging miles through bushland. No trails, just a compass bearing to go by and lobotomy patients to determine the direction from there. If you fell behind because your pack weighed more than you, too bad, we left you. We also got to go abseilling and rockclimbing. And believe it or not, you can go a week without masturbating. I know, IT'S HARD but it can be done and the moment you go home and have a shower you'll have the best pull ever. Oh wait it's too late for you too see my great advice.

happy chanukah, biatch Posts: 509 Group: Members Member #635 Joined: February 12, 2006	lol, that camp i went to (borambula) was freaking horrible, you werent allowed to run at any time (even during sport activities) and thier activities (canoing is the only one ive not supressed the memory of) were on such thin ice that they didnt let you do anything at all, it really sucked on the way out they said that all the kids who bought soveniers form thier crappy shop had STOLEN them and tried to take them back, when the teachers complained they raped the up into a towel and left them on the driveway where we were waiting and on the first day when we had lunch this happend lunch man: so, you want pork hot dogs? me: im cocer lunch man: ? me: i dont eat pork lunch man gives me bare hot dog bun i want to kill every officail that works thier as the try to run away by canooing down thier 3 inches deep creek that they made US canoo down shudder

We will stop and do activites like orienteering, mountain biking and rock climbing/absailing. I'm sleeping in a tent with 2 of my friends, but not friends enuf to be shoulder to shoulder so i'm going to make simon sleep outside. I'll be back around 4pm friday so expect updates then.

It wasn't even remotely like camping! Why call it camping if you're gonna be stuck in a tiny dorm room with broken beds and a grumpy arse teacher who gets up and yells at you every ten minutes for talking when it's past 9 o'clock? And then someone poured a plate of boiling hot spaghetti into my lap. It burned. ;_; Though we did get to walk through bush at one point, and catch little rodent animals and set them free again. That was nice. :) Hope you have fun Freakylime, don't get eaten by drop bears!
