Posted Image Eternal Sonata is a role playing game in development by Tri-crescendo (Baten Kaitos series) for the Xbox 360 and to be published by Namco. While the game is turn based the action still takes place in real time during the turns, giving a unique combination of both gameplay styles.

No idea. I assume it plays like your usual turn based RPG... but that doesn't explain why it has all the face buttons having a different function. Could be semi-real time like a Tales game. |

No kidding. It's "OMFG BEAUTIFUL!" if you ask me. I wish all of the developers would get it through their heads that next gen doesn't HAVE to be ultra realistic to look, well, "OMFG BEAUTIFUL!". In fact, you avoid the whole "uncanny valley" thing when you go cartoony, so you don't notice the flaws as much. That's why I think Mario Galaxy impressed me so much at E3, it probably would have looked like crap if they were trying to be all realstic, but instead it looked fantastic. |

Haha, could you imagine if they tried to make Mario realistic? Fat plumber with a double chin and a plumbers crack.. doing gymnastics! Oh, how traumatising. ^_^ This game looks so so so pretty! O__O It's tempting to save up for a 360 just for that.. Pity I like spending my moneys. (I really love the lolita style clothings! <3) |

Looks. ****ing. Sweet. IF an english release is ever announced, this could be the game that will make my buy an X360. |

I actually wouldn't mind a realistic Mario game, if it was done right. It could end up being really silly looking, which would be great. Example: Posted Image But yeah, back to Chopin's Dream, I definitely am ready for next gen graphics if they bring more games that look like it. |

New screenshots from Xboxyde. The shots really show they're focusing on the characters rather than environments, but it still looks gorgeous. |
