According to Famitsu, the game developers Polyphony Digital have confirmed that the game's release date is still indefinite as of press time. Originally, the plan was to release it in Japan during Spring 2005. This latest delay, which is not exactly new, will not only disappoint awaiting fans, but will also probably affect the PSP. This update is considered to be the latest in a number of blows coming PSP's way, following several movie companies' decision to stop producing UMD Videos for the handheld. Nonetheless, most fans don't think the delay signifies any deep trouble for both the game and the PSP. After all, other GT titles also took a while before being officially released. If there was one sure fire way for me to buy a PSP (yeah, MGS is EXTREMELY tempting too, but i'd like to get more than one game :)) is for a mobile GT game. I'm a fan of the GT games and being able to take a Skyline round Tsukuba on the go would be damned awesome, also wifi options could come into play! :D Here's hoping they are just playing down the release to surprise us, but it's not looking terribly likely :(
	Recently finished: Uncharted, Ratchet and Clank:TOD, Bionic Commando Rearmed Playing: LittleBigPlanet, Rockband!!!111 Yes. In under 3 months I went from being a 360 owner to a PS3 owner. Idiotic? Maybe. Financial Stupidity? Definately. Do I care? No bloody way!

Or even "We'll say it's still on track so people hopefully buy a PSP in anticipation even though it's not being released" Personally I'd love to see GT4 with an option for 8 player wireless, but I have a bad feeling it won't happen.

MGS Fanboy Posts: 999 Group: Members Member #3 Joined: February 10, 2005	haha of course a GT on PSP will appear...... this is sony we are talking about.. its like nintendo and mario/zelda..... they may not appear right away, but they will come :) don't forget games like zelda get delayed alot too. and this is typical of Pollyfony(haha) anyway, they always take time. IMO as long as the final thing is high quality, its all good.

It seems that it's been plagued by nothing but delays, and that's a really bad thing for Sony's flagship franchise. The franchise that moves hardware like nothing else they have. Seriously, 2009? What a joke. Sounds like Polyphony needs more employees.
