The thing is, even if the game is different from its precursors, it's not automatically a bad thing. Twilight Princess was very similar in feel and scheme to Ocarina of Time and I think it suffered from it, despite being a "mature" Zelda. I often find clones to be fun at the time, but I usually get a pretty sour taste in my mouth afterwards, which probably explains my love/indifference relationship with JRPGs. |
