It's SuperCalaFreakinAwesome!
Having gotten a couple of episodes into it now I am really enjoying how it plays out. Whilst obviously the show's focus is on Dexter and how he lives his life they stack in a plotline for him and also pretty much every other character in the damn show! The awkward moments that Dex faces often bring up laughs as well, I have found myself chuckling away as he attempts to deal with his 'human-side'.

Seriously folks, if you can watch it some way or another give it a go! You might be quite surprised :)

Yes. In under 3 months I went from being a 360 owner to a PS3 owner. Idiotic? Maybe. Financial Stupidity? Definately. Do I care? No bloody way! :D

Actually, the subplots with the other characters bother me. The first episode dealt entirely with Dexter, while the second (and third, I think) had a lot of sub-plot BS with Doakes and his issues with Guerrero's goons. I don't care about that crap, I care about the Ice Truck Killer and Dexter's own "projects".

But yes, I love how the first season ends, and I have an idea of where I want it to go in the second season, and how I want the series to end over-all.

Ugh. So apparently the second season will be doing its own thing rather than following Dearly Devoted Dexter or Dexter in the Dark.
Here's hoping the third season (if there is one) returns to the course. I can't see anything HBO coming up with themselves being as good.

Hmm, that doesn't sound good. Sounds like some studio exec thinks he's come up with a great idea.

I knew it was one of those two and I didn't care enough to check. It's still a poor decision on whoever's part :(

Was poking around the wiki. Apparently the series will air in Australia on Showtime (the cable network) this year, though there's no specific date.

I'm loving this show, I have to watch it on Ten however because we never get Showtime and I can't afford the DVDs.
