Gotta say that that's probably the best weather/time transitioning I've EVER seen. Also here's an interview from last year's E3...

Oh, this is for Clear Sky, obviously.

Day/Night Transition is now on par to the 3rd Party Oblivion Patch - Night time is actually dark and you can sneak around unnoticed, not to mention that you actually require your flashlight/Night Vision to be switched on to see where you are going.

This game should be sweet... hopefully they add vehicles for traversing the Zone.

So how does this game play? Is it a story or is it a basic run and shoot WWII like game.

A new trailer for STALKER Clear Sky has been released. I really like the design style of this game, hey. Wish my PC was man enough to run it. Hell, I wish my PC was man enough to handle the first, lol

You'll be able to pull of playing the first as long as you have something similar to an 8800GT and a Core2 clocked at 2.5Ghz (you can overclock it to 3.0 if you're up to it) - however, you might need to completely update the game and probably get the Oblivion Lost mod for it.

Without that mod and the official updates, my computer (Vista 32bit, 2Gb Ram, 8800GT + Core2 Duo clocked to 2.8Ghz at the time) wasn't able to play it full screen without stuttering along the way - this was due to some bug that would start loading levels as you walk though the zone instead of pre-caching them.

Might be able to pull off a system for capable for less than $600 (with some parts recycled).
