It's old news (1 week) but Games for Windows (GFW) LIVE is now free...! That means you can join the empty servers for some Halo 2 or play some Shadowrun with the xbox360 owners over GFW Live... now why wasn't this implemented earlier?? |

Crap, I'm a retard and forgot to mention this. Excellent news, but I can't help but feel that they missed the boat Steam ran off with. Apparently the Xbox 360 versions of the games are free to play via a silver account at the moment too. Fingers crossed for something like this being permanent? Even if I don't play any of those games, let alone online... |
