Yeah, they really have. Even the microbe part of the gameplay has drastically improved visuals compared to first video I saw.... and the game still looked great back then anyway! |

 Yeah, it's pretty good. The guys developing the game actually created those characters, used a 3D printer (or something) and sent the result to Scott or something. It was in one of his news posts... |

Want some bad news? Too bad, here it is: You know this little rad game we're talking about in this thread? Joystiq reckons we ain't seeing it until Q2 2008. That means this time next year...Ouch. Oh well, I suppose it's best if they just get the game right. I'm willing to wait. |

 Actually my thoughts were "man, I hope this really does take forever to save the gaming public from buying it" :P Seriously though, a better analogy would be Too Human for 360. It's been in development since the PS1, and in planning since Silicon Knights formed as a company and it's finally coming out this year, and it's better for having waited. |

The New Yorker held a conference called Gaming: 2012 (twenty-twelve, as in the year). They were lucky enough to have Will Wright speak on Spore at this conference. You're lucky enough to be able to see his presentation at the conference here
:) Sadly I haven't been able to figure a way to embed it, so you'll have to click that link! The video actually shows the game's intro for the very first time. |
