Sometimes I think I was born backwards
|
Posted Image Fallout 3 is a role playing game developed by Bethesda Softworks for PC and is the third entry in the Fallout series. In the universe of Fallout, nuclear war had devastated Earth during the 1950s turning much of it into wastelands. Because of this, the game has a an oddly 50s and futuristic mash up for its setting. In addition to this the player has complete control over how they tackle the story - they could kill everyone they come across, or do things the "right" way.

WHY SO SERIOUS!
|
I'm a huge fallout fan! I bought Fallout 2 one day as a blind purchase. Merely because it was from Bioware did I buy it (I was familiar with the awesomeness of Baldurs Gate 1 at the time) I was instantly hooked. I went to some means to get Fallout 1 after that. Even Tactics I liked! Online was awesome with that, not so much single player though. I hope Bethesda do a good job. |

Don't beat me, but I've never played the second Fallout. But I know I love the atmosphere the first game had and assume the second was much the same. Really, all I want Bethesda to do is capture that feeling. They could make it a third person with Elder Scrolls gameplay in that kind of setting and I'd be happy. |

Joystiq pointed out this video from Gametrailers, showing the game as it would have been under Black Isle Studios' control... |

Nothing's been confirmed at all beyond Bethesda developing/publishing it and now owning the rights. Everything else is a rumour or hearsay. I was just saying before I don't care what view point it takes, even if that means it's in first person like the Elder Scrolls games. I don't think it will be though. |
