My housemate lent me One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I really don't like it at all. I'm trying so hard to finish reading it so that I can move on.

Haha, my auntie gave me that for a bday a few years ago. I struggled through about 30-40 pages before I had to stop reading before I used the book to carve out my own eyeballs.

Finished Stone of Tears. Only CRAPLOADS better than Wizard's First Rule. It was predictable in parts, but only because I was like "damn, it'd be so cool if this happened" and then it did :P

Going down to the library on Monday to borrow Blood of the fold, since my sister doesn't own that one.

I didn't particularly like blood of the fold that much, but a few of my friends think it's great. Regardless, we all seem to agree that temple of the winds is one of the best so it's worth reading botf if only to get to totw :D

I managed to survive One Hundred Years of Solitude. It was hard but I made it.

Now I've moved onto Snowball Earth by Gabrielle Walker. Only read the first chapter but I'm sure I'll like it. And if not, at least this book is short.

I really enjoyed Snoball Earth, nicely set out and not too much hard scient. I hope you like it too, as it's a really interesting theory.
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.- Robert McCloskey
