Sometimes I think I was born backwards
 The boards are dead as hell and it doesn't help that there's a bajillion of them that have no posts in them for days, even weeks. There's no need for separate boards for DS and Wii, let alone hardware and games for each of them... and don't even get me started on PC/360/PS3.

The Best set up would be Nintendo Games, Other games and Non-Game banter. Or if you really want to move away from being Nintendo centric; Consoles, Handhelds and Non-Game banter. Maybe keep the trading board separate.

But seriously, I've seen far bigger (like, way way bigger) communities with less boards than I'm even suggesting. It's not helping.

 I don't think anything will be happening until we get converted to Zeta.

 You should check up how the conversions are been done and stuff on the support boards atm.

Anyway I think there should be just one gaming block:
Nintendo Gaming
Sony Gaming
Mircsoft Gaming
Retro Gaming
Other Gaming
Online Gaming

Dunno if you really need separate Retro and Online boards. That mostly happens in general now anyway, and very little discussion that would go there occurs. If the boards suddenly become really active, you could always re-expand to fill the need.

 Yeah Retro is basiclly online now, as in things like the VC and XboxLive. Or they can be in Gerenal/Other gaming.

 OK, maybe with the manufacturer split, "Nintendo", "Sony", "Microsoft", "Other" and "Non-Gaming", with PC going under "Other"? Still a lot of boards, but near half what we have now.
