Posts: 1,256 Group: Members Member #177 Joined: August 16, 2005 PSN ID Acerlyte	Posted Image Trackmania is a racing game with all the fun of high speed cars and the madness of whacky tracks complete with loop the loops, corkscrews, massive jumps etc. It's very easy to pickup and play for just about any gamer and you can customise stuff from liveries with the ingame editor (or even your own regular paint program) through to creating you own tracks with the easy to use track editor. Looks great graphically and maintains good frames even on not so awesome PCs (like mine ^_^) and has an online component which doesn't necessarily need a high bandwith connection (though it has it's advantages). Intergrated in the game whether solo or online, you can be ranked vs the world, your country or your buddies etc and it's all easy to access. But really you have to play it to get why it's so fun and with Trackmania Nations Forever a completely free game with over 100 000 tracks you are getting a pretty good deal. I suppose it doesn't matter since the Steam version wouldn't have that anyway.... would it?

The tasty citrus� Posts: 7,016 Group: Members Member #128 Joined: March 12, 2005	Trackmania, Trackmania Sunrise, Trackmania Nations and Trackmania United all have StarForce. Nations doesn't have as much as the other TM's, but it's there. With the Steam version, about 6 months after being released on it Starforce was removed. Not sure if it's the same with Nations.

My old PC on xp with Starforce installed wouldn't read any DVD/CD's I put in, and on Vista the games just don't work. That's why I bought United on Steam :)
