Anyone have any idea where to pick up a copy of Final Fantasy 7 for PSone? I lost mine in the divorce with the ex girlfriend. I see some on ebay, but most are second hand and still $100. Wondering if anyone still sells new PSone games......

Hoo boy, you really have your work cut out for you. If you have the ability to play any region games then that broadens your options a bit, but even finding Platinum and Greatest Hits versions of the game is pretty difficult. You could possibly try the trading post or something along those lines. Maybe see if someone is willing to trade for something you have?

I've never used it, but from what I understand Craigslist is good for requests.

cool I might look into it. I might have to bit the bullet and go ebay.

I had the top bid on a copy until 20 seconds left looked away for a second and someone beat me but $1. :(

Try ebay.co.uk! I just recently got a copy of the picture disc (not platinum) version from there for less than $40 including registered postage and it's in perfect condition. :)

I've ran a search and this is what I have found:

Play-Asia has a Jap version of it (Has NTSC copies of FF-VIII)
Gameswarehouse has no more copies
Gameplanet has no copies
Amazon.com has boatloads (Most likely NTSC, but have a look)

Other suggestions:
Check out those Asian Hobby/Figurine shops that specialise in imported stuff - I've seen unopen copies of FFVII and FFVIII for PC & PSX at a shop in Market City in Syd - But expect to pay some extremely stupid ammount of cash ~ $99+.

Check out the bargain bins of some retail chains - Harvey Norman used to keep copies of FFVII in said bins and a whole bunch of other unwanted PSone junk - if you're feeling crazy, go seek out those "Reject" Shops or even the odd flea market.

Lastly, take Red's and Demaar's advice and scoure all known auction sites.

There are two more ways to getting FFVII... but I'm sure you've already considered those options.

Anyways, Good Hunting!

If you're still looking for a copy, this guy is selling one on PALGN: Linky. Seems like a decent guy (there's also a traders feedback thread located here, he has 6 positive feedback and no negatives).

So yeah, hope that was some help. :P
