Sometimes I think I was born backwards
|
It's a couple of weeks old but here's a report from the 7:30 report on the 21st on ABC... Dunno what to say. I know police officers have a tough job and in a lot of case their lives are on the line. But this guy, Peter Willimae, he was initially doing nothing while his personal property was unlawfully searched. Then when the officer that caused the situation was distracted with the unlawful arrest of the lawyer, officers that don't know what's happening at all start beating Peter. I think this is the key problem here, the officer that instigated Peter's arrest should have handed off the lawyer's arrest to one of the other officers and remained at the scene to give context and (potentially) prevent the bashing of an innocent man... Sickens me that there will likely be no investigation for this at all. |
