Interesting that MS has the most downloadable exclusives. Surprised Nintendo isn't that far behind Sony at all, considering they only launched WiiWare a little while ago. Another big shocker is the low number of third party exclusives on PS3, too. Very interesting info. |

Um, I wouldnt really say Sony's lack of 3rd party exclusives shocking, at least I was expecting a graph like that for Sony. Just about every 3rd party game on the PS3 is available for the 360, however, the reverse can't be said. I am shocked however at how Wii has more 3rd party exclusives than 360 and in general. However, it's probably safe to say that the majority of those 3rd party titles on Wii are just shovelware. And i'm assuming the units on the Y axis is percentage of total games released thus far. |

Two words on Wii: Shovel Ware. Ditto for most of the PS2's massive library. Edit: Oh wait, you said that lol Edited by Demaar, Friday Aug 8 2008, 09:21 PM.

I think it was pretty obvious that the Wii would have the most exclusives, due to it's position in the market, it's often finding itself with exclusive editions or spin-offs of games. |

On a similar topic, Nintendo has fought back about there third-party sales. This is what they have given us: Posted Image |

Problem is, how many of those titles are non minigame collections/casual games? I dont think anyone is arguing that 3rd party titles dont sell on Wii. Its, core/hardcore titles that dont sell, or as well. That's why High Voltage have been having such a hard time looking for a publisher for Conduit, they all say Conduit isnt the type of game thats gonna sell on Wii, that they should just half ass it with gimmicky controls and rush it out for the holiday season, OR put it on 360. |

I dunno... I think it's any quality that's having issues. Boom Blox as well as Zack and Wiki spring to mind. Meanwhile shovelware crap that latches onto the Wii being a fad sells like hotcakes (like that Decasports garbage). |

Yep, Boom Blox, ZnW are two titles I had in mind that are good, but didn't do too well sales wise, while stuff like you mention get bought by pretty much every primary school kid =/ |

Isn't Demaar's point that Zack & Wiki is a quality 'hardcore' title and Boom Blox is a quality 'Casual' title, yet neither sold that well...? |
