Posts: 31 Group: Members Member #8,471 Joined: August 13, 2008 XBL Gamer Tag LT13QB	This is a post for the fantasy readers amongst us. What is it with Authors dying? Its sad for sure, but it annoys me when they don't finish their work. Don't get me wrong, Its not there fault :D but man it annoys me. I read Robert Jordan, 11 books some 700 pages each, and he died before he finished it. On the last book! Apparently someone in his family is finishing the book for him. David Gemmel another fav author died too. Every series I have read lately has stretched on forever. I think Terry Goodkind just finished his series. (Havent finished reading it yet). Anyone have any tips on a good series to read? I will be finished goodkind soon. Feist (I think) is finished with the Darkwar series. Read everything by Eddings too. Let me know if anyone has some good authors!! Just a few things on my mind :D

I think there's a bajillion George R.R. Martin fans here, so let me be the first to suggest the Song of Ice and Fire series, despite not having started it yet.

I read fire and ice, loved it, buts its been a while since he released one ( i think??), I saw a new hard copy book with the name Martin on it, but it was dreamsongs, not the next installment :no:
