Sense is not common.
Region locked DSi software? You've got to be kidding... The DS being region free was one of the best things about it.

Well, that settles it. There's no way I'm parting with my cosmic blue phat DS, exclusive DSi content be damned.

- Pedometer shown.
I notice nothing more has been mentioned about the pedometer, but if it wasn't just a wild rumour and is actually a new feature then the DSi will have to have a gyro of some kind in it right?

うるさい!!!
Well, the DSi launched in Japan over the weekend, and it seems like it sold out, not that I'm surprised. IGN has more on on the matter.

First thing that came to mind was after reading their article on the music player was AAC (which the player uses) is what iTunes and the iPod use as their music format if something requires conversion...

I think know it depends on some company announcements, i.e. first games by Nintendo, 3rd party support, DLC (DSWare or whatever they call it as well as what it means for games) and the major question mark for me is this. Expansion.

Is there a method to put add-ons in the DSi like a GH Hand Grip v2 or anything for that matter, though there does seem to be movement in the homebrew area for slot 1 expansion for current DS but it has less then favourable roots for Ninty to consider. Expansion also effects longevity of the console, like it can get another year out of a dying console just enough to last that bit longer until the next system is ready, it also is a great tool for gameplay (whenever I see a PS2 used it is still popular and either has one of 3 game families in it, Singstar (*shudder*), Guitar Hero (or similar i.e. Rockband) or Eye Toy). Even though its another set of rules for handhelds, it still just adds to the possibilities and at least my vision of the ultimate console (in however years it takes to produce screens and graphics cards that surpass that the human eye can handle) would be enjoyable, connected and limitless.

Apologies for going into a generic little console topic at the end. The bottom line is that what they have done has restored faith in the system for me at least but the final word has to be with the game developers and what they can do with it.
