To celebrate Google's 10th aniversary they've posted their oldest existing search index, from January 2001. Sounds kinda boring... but try searching 'Wii'. I wonder how much Willamette Industries got for their www.wii.com url? And to live in a world where 'paris hilton' brings up travel websties not, y'know, other stuff.

Heh, the major changes between 2001 and now are so huge it's hard to define them. But try 2001 searching for youtube, lolcat, 4chan or lotr meme. In 2001 zomg isn't even recognised as a word/acronym. In 2008 it has its own wiktionary entry.

2001 searching for firefox and opera are equally amusing

oh wow, true... hmm, I don't think 4chan even existed back then, did it? So a bunch of other internet memes wouldn't exist yet either. It's like a utopian version of the internet!

Edit: Just checked the internet archive link for the Mozilla hopepage. Not even the old browser was 1.0! http://web.archive.org/web/20010917011932/www.mozilla.org/

Chia uses Opera trinest, so I'm not quite sure why you think she's trashing it.

うるさい!!!
You realise that she's only quoting what the Opera described themselves as back then right?.....

Maybe try using the old search engine like everyone else is, instead of bashing others only to look like a fool in the end.

In the event you're not bashing Chia's post, it helps if you took even a second to review your posts and edit them so it's clear as to what you're actually saying.
