Hello, Dexter Morgan!
Posted ImagePosted Image[xtable]I just got back from town, trying to pry a DSi out of someone's hands early, no luck unfortunately. Anyway I was told by the checkout chic at Big W that they'd be selling them for $278, which is the cheapest place I've seen them sold for. If you don't care about a 2/4Gb memory card then it'll be the place you'll want to go tomorrow. Remember that the DSi has 256Mb on-board memory anyway, so it's not like you'll be needing a memory card straight away.[/xtable]

Thanks Ingram! :)

I got to EB before they closed tonight and preordered and got them to price match Big W's price. Traded in my DS lite and ended up only paying $128. Tomorrow morning I'll go and pick it up and hopefully get a 2GB (or 4GB) SD card!

Hello, Dexter Morgan!
Great deal nunami. I just hope EB don't get stingy and turn around saying you don't get the SD card because you priced matched a deal that didn't come with one. Either way you saved money by price matching Big W and trading in your DSL towards it.

If only Big W did trade ins! I'd go trade in all sorts of things, like my underwear :-P

There were two guys at EB, the first said come in and get your SD card tomorrow and the other said because the price was so low that they couldn't - apparently the 2GB card costs $15! But I'll see how I go tomorrow. Either way I saved enough to buy a card bigger than 2GB.

You're right. The thing is though that the DSi has 256Mb of on-board storage. It'll last you a while, unless you go absolutely crazy downloading DSi Ware and taking pictures. I don't see the need to rush out and get a memory card personally, but I'll see how I go :)
