Hmm wonder if EB are gonna try and match that, makes my deal look crap there....I got the Sandisk SDHC 4G card from City software as a walkin customer for $18 in Feb so it's a bit rich of them to say they are worth $49. |

Well, it just has a 49 buck price tag on it. I only paid an extra 15 for it. |

I'm thinking that places like EB are going to be more than a little pissed off at JB's deal - they mustn't be making much, if any, profit at all. JB works by getting feet in the door. While other retailers want to preserve goodwill and redirect those feet, I'm sure they actually want to make money out of people. |

I think that this console has a bit more margin in it, but at the end of the day, a consoles main purpose is to sell games....its just an enabler. EB have 25% off a lot of accessories as well as telling everyone to bring games to trade etc on it...so they are aiming to make the money elsewhere. Apple retailers only make $5-10 on ipods, and really not a whole heap more on the systems either but make it up in all the other stuff that goes with them. Either way, if people have paved the way for a better deal by the time I get there tonight I'll be happy.... |

aw:( Ipicked up my DSi at 8:30 this morning. It's only $10 difference so I'm not that annoyed. Still need to find a cheap SD card to keep some music and photos for on the go. Time to check out JB! |

Yeah I think you're right about that. Although not in regards to the DSi, I had EB match the offer JB had with the trade 2 ds games and get Chinatown Wars for free. The manager wasn't happy (I don't know if at me or the fact they didn't make any money) and he said to guy serving me that they wanted to scrap their price matching and whatever else-matching. Back on topic, I don't think I'll be buying a DSi anytime soon. I've entered two competitions to win them (the tightass I am ), and knowing my luck I won't win them, but I just don't feel right spending close to $300 on it. Maybe in the future when I feel that I need an upgrade from the original DS.

Interestingly, I saw the games I traded at JB to get Chinatown Wars the other day. They were priced at $14 and $19. Obviously I got the better end of the deal there, particularly as I probably paid less than that for them in the first place. If I tried that at EB, I'm sure they'd be very pissed. |

Hello, Dexter Morgan!

Pretty sure I regret paying the extra for the 4gb SD card. Sure it's nice to be able to take a trillion photos, but I probably never will. The on-board storage of the DSi will most likely tide me over, unless there's an absolute ass load of good DSiWare, then I would need to store it all. Though surely Nintendo wouldn't be retarded enough to charge you per each download right? I could just rotate around my software. If the card was a Class 6 I'd be more happy with it, unfortunately it's only a class 2. |

Hello, Dexter Morgan!

Well I was presented with the option, it wasn't really a single choice I had to make. I went with the one I thought made sense at the time. |
