While originally developed and scheduled for publishing by Atari, a last minute deal has seen Sony secure the publishing rights. The bad news is that while North America will see delayed release of the 360, Wii and DS versions, PAL territories will not see them at all. This will make it impossible to play the game on an Australian Wii short of utilising hacks or the Freeloader. The same will be true of the 360 version if it is region-locked. That this news is so shocking is a sign of how multiplatform this generation truly is. New via Kotaku AU UPDATE: Atari “The release of the Xbox 360, PC, Wii and Nintendo DS versions of Ghostbusters: The Video Game will launch across Europe and PAL regions in Spring 2009.
