Posted Image[xtable]It has been confirmed that Pokémon Gold and Silver will be remade for the DS. Originally released for the Gameboy Color, the remakes will be released in later in the year in Japan to coincide with the 10-year anniversary of the original release. The titles will be renamed Heart Gold and Soul Silver for the DS.

Expect fanboys to shy away from the title Heart Gold.[/xtable]Source

Pokemon Blue was BY FAR the best.

And then close behind that was POKEMON SILVER so this should be good. I never finished Silver (Got to a dead end.. I'd been everywhere. Think my game glitched or something) but yeah, very good game.

I'm decidedly "meh" on this unless it represents a substantial improvement from Diamond/Pearl/Platinum. I've been there, done that.

The flipside of this announcement is that there won't be a "new" Pokemon game (not counting spin-offs) for years. But then it seems most Pokemon fans are satisfied with a remake.

S/G/C was the best generation. The original games R/B/Y where alright- but S/G/C added so much more depth in the new world, and the best thing is it included the original area as well.

Bad ass games, enjoyed them, played them all- got a Lvl. 100 politoad in Cristal ^_^

Going to get some Soul Silver when its out.
